What Is an Investor KITAS?
An Investor KITAS (types 313 and 314) is issued to applicants that invest their money in a company in Indonesia (PT PMA Company) and need to work for that company.
Indonesia Investor KITAS offers huge benefits, such as the ease of application and the waiver of the work permit fee. You should not pay the visa fee of USD 1,200 per year if you meet all the investment requirements. Furthermore, foreign investors do not have to wait for so long to start working after providing their initial investment.
Hence, this Investor KITAS that was relaunched in 2019 surprisingly offers some huge financial savings.
For your information, the Indonesian government no longer issues the physical card form of KITAS, so we had better call it a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) to make it clear.
